Makes 6 - 8
Ingredients
1 cup Talbina
1 heaped tbsp Sugar (Brown or Granulated)
1/2 tbsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Egg
1 tbsp Oil
1 cup Milk
Instructions
Combine Talbina, Sugar, Baking Powder and Salt in a bowl.
In a smaller bowl, whisk together the Egg, Oil and Milk.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and whisk together.
Grease the waffle iron/machine with some Oil or Ghee.
Get your waffle machine ready or heat a waffle iron.
Once it’s hot, ladle in some batter and seal. Cook for 1-2 mins per side.
Variations
If you don’t have a waffle machine, pour into silicone molds shaped like waffles, and bake at 220 c/Gas Mark 7 for 8 - 10 minutes.
