A warming Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe made with Roohts Tandoori Recipe Mix. Perfect for a weekend fake-away.
Ingredients
- 2lb Chicken Breast, cubed
- 75g Plain Yoghurt
- 2 tbsp Roohts Tandoori Seasoning, divided
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 4 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
- Salt
- 2 tbsp Oil (Vegetable)
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 200g tinned Tomatoes, pureed
- 125ml Double Cream
- 1 tsp Honey
Instructions
Marinade Chicken Breast in Yoghurt, 1 tbsp Roohts Tandoori Seasoning, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Ginger and Salt for 1 hour.
Place under the grill and cook for 5 minutes each side.
Add the Oil to a large pot over medium-high heat.
Add the Bay Leaf , Cinnamon Stick and Onion, and cook for 6 - 7 minutes until golden brown
.
Add the remaining Tandoori Masala and cook for 2 minutes.

Stir in Tomatoes.
Bring to the boil, then simmer covered for 10 minutes.
Add the grilled Chicken and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Â
Stir in Cream and Honey.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with Rice or Naan.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
